Northwest's Long Lost Prairies

Northwest Missouri Field



Northwest Missouri was once home to large expanses of prairies. Now however, it is known more for its farmland. Hope is not lost though, remnants of prairies still exist and even along some roadsides, native prairies wildflowers can be found.
