As John Muir once said, "In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks." There is nothing more true and I hope that throughout this course, you too will receive more than you sought. With that being said, this blog is an example of what is expected from you for this course. Take photos, get outside, and get up close and personal with Missouri's wildflowers. I would like each of you to create a blog, either using Google's Blogspot or Tumblr. Come up with a creative title and layout. Be sure to follow each others blog's so that you can connect with each other, comment on photos, and be a community.

As a part of your blog, document your region's habitats and ecosystems. Refer to the Prezi presentation if you need a refresher on the regions. After you've added some photos and explanations of your region's various environments, begin to upload photographs of the wildflowers you come across. With luck, we will have blogs representing each region of the state.

For any wildflowers you do not know, upload a photograph and include some details about is habitat, season of flower, and some anatomical features. See the example I've included below if you need any assistance. I would like each of you to help identify those hard and troublesome flowers and comment on that post with your thoughts on it's ID. Remember, I'm just an email away.
Most importantly, have fun with it all. It is what you make it!
